A gathering for singers seeking a held room, and for an audience who understands that attention is a creative act.
I · L'INVITATION
Not a performance.
We gather to experience the human voice in shared presence.
There are choirs in this city, where the individual voice is held inside the ensemble. There are open mics, where the voice steps onto a stage and is judged. Between these two, there is a third room. A room where a singer can be seen, share what is alive for them, and be heard with an open heart.
L’Intérieur is that room. In the inviting dark of a basement in Geneva, voices arrive, one song each. A small audience witnesses. Asiya and Marielle tend the threshold. Nothing is recorded. No one is critiqued. The evening is the practice.
II · DEUX RÔLES
Two ways to enter the evening. Both are essential. Neither is passive.

Singers bring one piece, in any language, in any style, accompanied or acappella. For singers new to us, we ask for a short video. Sometimes we come to find you, in other rooms, at other stages. There is no audition. There is a conversation, and then an invitation to step into the space.
L'ÉCOUTE · THE witness
Holds the room.
The audience arrives for each evening. You are not listeners in the usual sense. Your attention is the container in which the voices land. You will be asked to put your phone away, to settle your breath and to stay for the whole arc of the evening.

We gather at Floky la loutre, in the cellar known as L’E 05-23: a low-ceilinged room of brick, wood, and old stage curtains, with sound that has been tuned by every voice that came before. The bar above stays open through the evening.

Two voices tend the room.
· ASIYA
Asiya has spent two and a half decades inside the relational fabric of human systems as a public health practitioner in global health, asking the same question in many forms: what makes it possible for a person to be present as themselves, in a body, in a room, with others? L’Intérieur is that question at the scale of a single evening. She holds the threshold and names what the room is for,
· MARIELLE
Marielle has a rare gift: she transforms vocal technique into a personal revelation. Her unique method combines conscious breathing, physical grounding and joyful teaching to unlock what once seemed impossible. With her, “I can’t sing” becomes, “I didn’t know my voice could do that.” She doesn’t teach you to “sing properly”, she reveals the voice you haven’t yet dared to embrace.
VI · RÉSERVER
The inaugural evening.
Singers for the inaugural evening are invited. Audience places open six weeks before each gathering. Each curated evening welcomes a small core of voices and a held group to witness.
